Founded in 1978 The Harmony Festival has long been at the cutting edge of the burgeoning eco-green movement and is the longest running event of its kind, now in its 31st year, on the west coast. Harmony is unique in that it is held in an urban environment in the city of Santa Rosa, Sonoma County, in the San Francisco North Bay region.
Santa Rosa is the gateway to the majesitc redwood coast and the heart of wine country. The area is one of the most affluent and culturally rich areas in the country renown for its trend setting LOHAS demographic (Lifestyle of Health & Sustainability). We are less than one hour from the Greater San Francisco Bay Area, with easy access for over seven million people and a wide variety of business and media outlets.
Harmony Festival represents the celebration of positive social transformation: a "progressive county fair" platform, incorporating a diverse variety of "edutainment" -- entertainment & educational programming that promotes the creative arts, sustainable business practices and healthy living for the global community.
The Harmony Festival supports artists, business partners and fans that are committed to the values of positive social transformation through music, art, ecology, healthy living and spirituality. Our festival is laid out in a unique village model. Our viillages attract dozens of leading edge sponsors and over 350 vendors from a diverse cross–section of the green and sustainable business marketplace: organic food and beverages, natural & alternative health products, green tech & renewable energy, eco-conscious clothing and fair trade consumer goods.
