The 10,000 Lakes Festival is held at the Soo Pass Ranch and Amphitheater on Minnesota Highway 59, four miles south of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Nestled in the picturesque Lakes Region, 10KLF's wooded and lakeside facilites are second to none.
The 10,000 Lakes Festival will provide the premier music festival experience, enabling our patrons to escape to a friendly, comfortable entertainment environment featuring new and familiar music amidst a beautiful and natural camping setting. The tone and manner of our festival is one that is warm, friendly, safe, “cool” and hassle-free, allowing a community of music lovers to escape into a world of art, love, peace and pleasure. Patrons will experience an enhanced atmosphere in which the personnel are knowledgeable, the security is professional and friendly, the entertainment exceeds expectations and vending options meet every need and interest. Attendees participate in creating a sublime experience. The 10,000 Lakes Festival team will commit themselves to ongoing planning, training, and evaluation of the site, employees, patron needs and entertainment provided.

The 7th Annual 10,000 Lakes Festival (10KLF) is set for July 22-25, 2009 at the scenic Soo Pass Ranch in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. This unique event features nonstop live music with over 65 bands on four stages and prime camping on 450 acres of lake country. The 10KLF audience camps at the concert site for 4 days, providing numerous opportunities to expose and enhance your brand. The 25-acre concert bowl, ringed with permanent booths and concession stands, provides a huge venue for product displays, signage and sampling opportunities. Pedestrian traffic is constant as attendees move between the campgrounds and the four music stages within the venue.

10,000 Lakes Festival goers are typically College aged, males (57%) females (43%) with appropriate income status. Festival goers reported an average age of 22.4 years (range 18-57 years). The most frequent cited income was less than $25,000 (26%).
Respondents showed a higher than average amount of disposable income with Food (45%) and Festivals (28%) ranking higher than Housing (27%) and Car (17%). More than three quarters of the Festival goers indicated that Music was their primary reason for attending (77%).
Enjoying the company of friends and family was a constant theme designating friends as the most influential reason for attending (52%) and the largest component of the attendee's group (71%) A majority of Festival goers arrived Wednesday (63%) with a group of 3-6 people (50%) and camped all four days on the festival grounds (97.5%). Half of the attendees were at the festival for the first time.
Visitors came from all 50 States.
77% of festival goers plan on attending 10KLF again and are satisfied with their experiences based on satisfaction levels with services, staff and value.
